History

In 1994, Maureen Lyden founded BSI providing biostatistical and data management services from her home office in Tampa, Florida. Maureen envisioned a company that not only would provide expected quality service, but one that would exceed expectations and incite the clients to continue to trust their projects to BSI. Her dedication and involvement showed how important it was to her (and is still is) that clients react and receive attention as if BSI were an extension of their staff.

Today, BSI continues to fulfill our founder's goal. In addition to proven quality, personal attention, support and commitment, BSI has grown in experience, staff and services. BSI employees are active members of professional organizations such as SUGI, ACRP, DIA, ASA, CDISC, SCDM, and WPO, and have co-authored scientific publications on topics pertaining to breast cancer APBI treatment outcomes and diabetes care.

We are excited about the launch of our new rEDCap software in 2011 that will highlight cost-effectiveness and flexibility in the electronic data capture environment. We look forward to a bright future where we can continue to serve our clients with enthusiasm and celebrate successful trials and product approvals.
